Scenes in a Box is an independent printing publication of the project, Put’em in a Box. The artist book is composed by the artworks, process, Q&A, event scores and field research of the curator and five artists from Helsinki/HongKong, Tokyo, Taipei, Tainan and Peth.
The design concept of the book is a “box”. The symbol of lines presents an abstract idea of sound which artists use as a main medium for their art works. Therefore, imaging the book as a music box to collect all the artists’ works, the cover is opened a small window to let viwers to view five different scenes into the box. In order to making the book thicker like a box, the size is set up 10.7 width and 18 length centimeter. The way of binding is used with white/black plastic spiral to connect each artists’ sections of works and processes.
盒中風景為 「 我們把它都裝在一個盒子裡 」 計畫中的獨立出版品，書的內容匯集2023至2025年間，策展人及五位來自赫爾辛基、香港、東京、台北、伯斯的藝術家們，以其創作關於在地 「 聲音 」的藝術作品、創作過程、問答、藝術家事件譜架及展覽紀錄構成一書。
書籍設計概念以 「 盒子 」 為出發點、線條符號為 「 聲音 」 符號化，想像書為一盒子將藝術家作品及策劃脈絡串起並放進盒子中，因此封面處開了一小天窗，讓閱讀者似 「 看 」 盒子 裡面的風景為動作。為了讓整體厚度達到盒子概念，書籍尺寸設定為10.7x18公分，選以環裝製作裝訂，將抽象 「 串連 」 概念轉化成具象 「 串起 」 紙上作品。
